The ability to lift is a gift!

Our bodies are designed to move and in towards work environments, we as a majority are limited to small minimal movements on a daily basis. Making a strength training routine essential for our bodies to keep functioning properly. "Women bulking from weight training is a Myth"

Few Benefits of lifting are:

1) Strength:

We take this for granted usually in our younger years. Being able to lift and move things or even open jars gives us a sense of independence.

2) Gardening/ Snow Removal:

Taking care of your property can be taxing on the body. Lifting weights allows you to keep forearm and shoulder muscle strong and engaged. It helps strengthen your core and lower back when you are planting flowers or digging up trees and bushes. Or when those terrible snowfalls come throughout the winter months lifting helps tremendously with shoveling snow.

Strong bones through weight lifting can increase bone density and reduce the risk of osteoporosis. Also, it assists in Managing your weight Weight lifting can help you manage or lose weight by increasing your metabolism to help you burn more calories.

4) Mood boost:

No one ever great their workout. Weight lifting is a great way to boost your production of a chemical known as serotonin and dopamine which have been known to lift the mood.
